BIRMINGHAM, AL. A Taste of the Caribbean Jerk Festival returns to Downtown Birmingham
Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Arthur Shores Park on Shuttlesworth Dr., between 11th Ave. and 12th Ave. N.

SLS Exprrres Foundation to host A Taste of the Caribbean Jerk Festival. The event will take place on June 21, 2014 from Noon to 11:00PM at the Author Shores Park Amphitheater in Birmingham, Alabama. The general public is invited to this amazing festival of Caribbean culture and experience. This year, we are very excited about different activities available for patrons to enjoy while enjoying performances from many musically talented artists such as Rick Della Ritta, Jazz for Peace, and Sterling Brothers Band. Rest assure, A Taste of the Caribbean Jerk Festival will definitely be a great event as patrons will enjoy learning about Caribbean culture, cuisine, and history in a family-friendly atmosphere. As with previous years, this event will feature the culinary skills of local cooks who will bring flavor and pizzazz for all to enjoy. This annual celebration in Birmingham, Alabama provides significant contributions to both our economy and community while celebrating the struggle of our rich history.

SLS Exprrres also host events to benefit disadvantaged individuals and families as well as Diabetes Awareness in the Birmingham area with clothes, school uniforms, housing and financial assistance.
